On Thursday, April 12 2018, Lakeridge Health Foundation’s young leaders group, Launchpad, hosted their 2nd Annual Nightshift event! This is Canada’s only medical simulation challenge open to the public, and it had an overwhelming attendance. This year’s participants included several of Durham Region’s most successful and upcoming small business owners, as well as a few celebrity judges including Dan O’Toole from TSN’s SportsCentre and Mika Midolo from CP24! Teams fundraised money in order to participate and the Durham Regional Police Association generously matched every dollar up to $10,000! We’re very happy and proud to report the event fundraised over $27,000 for the Paediatrics Department at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
