Catch Fish. Fight Cancer.

Join us on bass opener for the 12th annual Fish for Charity tournament on Lake Scugog. We've got big prizes and an even better reward - proceeds from the tournament continue to support the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
To date our event has raised over $107,000 for local cancer care!

How it works:

Teams of two launch first thing in the morning for a full day fishing tournament. Your 5 biggest fish are weighed and ranked among the group. Heaviest fish is the winner! Participants can also enter the 'Big Fish' contest to win a fishing getaway.

for the tournament rules. Please note the earlier launch times!

The 2017 Fish for Charity tournament raised an incredible $20,000 for cancer care in Durham Region! This year we are bringing back the opportunity for each team or competitor to fundraise and have reserved 10 of the top 20 launch positions for our top fundraisers - help us reach our goal to tackle cancer!
