Lakeridge Health Foundation's young leaders committee best known for NightShift, Techtalk and Fire'd Up fundraising events is now serving up a new kind of challenge to our community.
Compete in a fun and exhilarating dodgeball battle at Skyzone Whitby Trampoline Park, sure to get heart rates up and the fundraising goal even higher! On Wednesday, November 30, advancing cancer care at Lakeridge Health is just a hop, skip and a bounce away.

We're turning up the heat and sending you, alongside our Emergency Medicine experts, into the lives of our Oshawa Firefighters. Experience what happens on the frontlines before our medical professionals take over at the hospital. Funds raised will support the Dr. Benjamin Fuller & Family Endowment in Emergency Medicine, dedicated to advancing emergency care in Durham Region and beyond.
Register a team and your tickets include: Participation in relay race, pairing with Emergency Medicine expert, rehabilitation station snacks and refreshments and seven passes for the After Party which includes one alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink each and various appetizers.
Or, your Spectator and Networking Pass includes: Attendance at demonstration and relay as a cheerleader plus one (1) pass to the After Party including one alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

Our first ever VIRTUAL Tech Talk will be held on September 17 from 4:00-5:00 pm. Tickets are $15 and will support Lakeridge Health Foundation's Emergency Fund which provides funding for the critical needs of Lakeridge Health's Oshawa and Whitby sites related to COVID-19.

2018 TECHtalk | November 29, 2018
Launchpad's third TECHtalk event combined fine art with health care and technology. Young professionals had the opportunity to network and hear a thoracic surgeon at Lakeridge Health, while enjoying Tim Packer's fine art. We're happy to report that over $1,100 was raised for the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre!

NightShift | April 12, 2018
No pressure, just blood pressure! Teams of 4-6 people participated in the 2nd Annual NightShift - Canada's only simulation challenge for the public. Teams were matched up with a Physician or Medical Professional from Lakeridge Health to help win top (or bottom) prize! We're thrilled to announce over $27,000 was raised for the Paediatric Department at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. A big thank you to our friends at the Durham Regional Police Association for matching every dollar up to $10,000!
